About a month ago, I watched this movie called Pulp Fiction. My first judgement of this film was: "this is another 80's action film". What really got me interested in the movie was the cast, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis and Quentin Tarantino as the director. SPOILERS ahead.
This movie starts with Prologue. There's couple eating breakfast in a diner, everything is normal until they decide out of no where to rob that diner. After this the movie really starts.
After this scene, you see Jules, Samuel Jackson, and Vincent, being acted by Travolta, they are talking about a guy who was giving a massage to Marcellus Wallace's wife, then that guy, called Brett, got thrown out of a window and got injured very badly. While these guys are talking they are going to Brett's department because he has Marcellus's briefcase. Once they get to Brett's department they retrieved the briefcase and then they killed everybody in that place.
There's this guy called Butch (Bruce Willis), a prefessional wrestler, that went with Marcellus to make a deal with him, this deal is to loss his fighting match. After Butch goes away, Jules and Vincent return the precious briefcase to Marcellus. Marcellus tells Vincent to take care of his wife for a night because he is going away, and Vincent agrees to this.
Vincent goes for Marcellus's wife, Mia, and they go to eat at a 50's themed restaurant. They decide to participate on a dance competition, which they won, even though they dance pretty awkwardly. They return to Marcellus's home, Vincent goes to the bathroom, and Mia finds some heroin, which she mistakes as cocaine. Mia starts to snort it, and overdoses herself. When Vincent finds her, he goes to a friend's house to give her anything they could find. Vincent's friend after a while, he finds a shot of adrenaline, he tells Vincent that it should be a injected directly into Mia's heart. After a moment of tension Vincent penetrates Mia's chest with the vaccine and she comes conscious again. They return home and promise that they won't tell Marcellus any of this.
There's a flashback where Butch is being visited by a captain of the army to deliver him a gold watch that has been in his family for generations. Also that gold watch was in somebody's rectum for 2 years, and for some reason that doesn't bother Butch at all.
The fight happens, and Butch wins it, this makes Marcellus mad, so for this reason Butch flees his home and goes to sleep in a motel with his wife. The next day Butch realizes that his wife forgot his precious gold watch, Butch gets really angry and takes the decision to return home for his watch, this is dangerous because Marcellus could have put hit men in his house, which he does, but unfortunately Marcellus puts the inexperienced Vincent on Butch's home. Butch arrives and grabs the gold watch. He starts searching his home for anybody and he comes to the conclusion he is alone because for some reason he decides to prepare and eat a Pop-Tart. When he goes to the kitchen he noticed a big machine gun in the counter, then he hears somebody doing his business in the bathroom, this person in the bathroom is Vincent (when will he learn that going to the bathroom has a bad outcome). Once Vincent opened the bathroom door, Butch was waiting for him, so he just massacred poor Vincent's body with the gun. Butch returns home with her wife's car.
Here comes one of the wierdest/what's happening parts of the movie. Butch finds Marcellus in his way home..
